Wow, guess I've forgotten to update here in a bit. Been busy with a new job and all. Also forgot to update the last post with the sketches. Oh well, no one missed it. Doing a few other things that I'll add here.

A Watcher from the Star-Scapes Literary Sim as well as a few other works. Not done sci-fi themed works in a long while. Been doing mostly fantasy based, WoW more specific. Glad to try other things.

Ambush

Commission done for Shukir of the Brotherhood of Dusk, Feathermoon server, World of Warcraft.

Took a while to get this one done. I just couldn't decide on a stance for Shukir. Obviously settled on this one which turned out not to bad. Still learning, always learning, I don't think I'll ever stop learning to do new things. One thing for sure though, I can never look back at works after I'm done, not for long anyway. I always find flaws and after I see them they just glow and scream at me whenever I look at the pic again. But that's normal, or so I'm told.

Later when I can get a chance I'll scan and post the ruft works I did for this like the Bregdark one.

Commissions

I'm doing commissions again and started with this one for Bregdark of the Umbral Advent on Feathermoon server of World of Warcraft.

My prices are higher then they used to be, not cause I've improved, but because I take longer with each peace and do several prep sketches and the like.

Still looking for the holy grail of art, but I do think I'm getting closer. Narrowed it down to line work and I may have figured some new stuff out. I'll try it on the next commission and see what happens there.

I'm looking for the holy grail of art. Somewhere out there is JUST the info I need to take my art to the next level. I just have no idea what it is or where to look, so I just keep searching. It may not be one peace of information, but a series of bits and peaces that I have to put together. I've been looking for a very long time now. I've asked several very prominent artists and a good number actually got back to me and gave me more peaces to this puzzle. I know what I want to do and how I want my work to look, I just haven't been able to figure out how to get there yet. All the tutorials and books and aid I get seem to assume that that one vital peace is common knowledge and I have a very hard time explaining what I'm searching for. What is it that I'm missing... what will make my work as good as I see it in my head...? A friend told me once that I just have to get "popular" and that it will click then. I don't see how that is possible and I can't get "popular" until I get better. Well, it's almost 1am and I have to work in the morning... I'll work on this mystery more later.

I created this site as another place to put up my art. I'll be using this mostly as a portfolio for others to view only the best of my work, which isn't to say that it's great, but it's some of the better works I do.
